# Can I ask Shopify Sidekick about my swatches?

Ask Shopify Sidekick about your swatch setup.

Yes. The app adds **Color swatch tools** to Shopify Sidekick, so you can ask about your setup in plain words, for example:

* *"Why don't my swatches show?"*
* *"Which Color values have no swatch color?"*
* *"List my product groups."*
* *"Which products need variant-image review?"*

Sidekick can read your option styles, product groups, variant images, settings and whether the app embed is on.

Sidekick only looks things up — it can't change anything. It gives you a link to the right page in the app instead. The app-embed status it sees refreshes every 5 minutes.
